Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Chantel Bailey to the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science Advisory Board for a term set to expire on May 2, 2024.

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Chantel Bailey to the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science Advisory Board for a term set to expire on May 2, 2024. The board advises the Dean of the academy on admission policies, curriculum, and other policies regarding the Academy.

Chantel Bailey of McKinney is a project manager at Emerson, and is a certified Project Management Professional. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers, Project Management Institute, and the Leadership McKinney Class of 2019. Additionally, she is an outreach organizer for Emerson Women in STEM and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Bailey received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and a Bachelor of Science in physics from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas.
