“Please join us in praying for the family of the driver. Our facility can be repaired but the loss of life will greatly impact this family forever,” the church said.
HALLSVILLE, Texas — One person was killed Monday night after a high-speed chase led to a car crashing into an East Texas church.
According to First Baptist Church Hallsville leadership, the church sanctuary was damaged both on the inside and outside because of the high-speed chase. The driver in the car was killed after the wreck.
“Please join us in praying for the family of the driver. Our facility can be repaired but the loss of life will greatly impact this family forever,” the church said.
The statement said more details will be shared as church leaders assess damage and make decisions about the use of the facility.
