1 dead after drowning on Lake Palestine

   

According to Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse, officers were called to Lake Palestine, near Coffee City, around 8:10 p.m., on reports of a possible drowning.

COFFEE CITY, Texas — A man drowned on a local lake Tuesday night near Coffee City.

According to Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse , officers were called to Lake Palestine around 8:10 p.m., on reports of a possible drowning.

Sheriff Hillhouse confirmed that a male victim had died.

Henderson County Game Wardens said they expect to have a water fatality report in the coming days.
