1 person killed in south Fort Worth shooting, police say

 

Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead overnight.

FORT WORTH, Tex as — One person was shot and killed in far south Fort Worth overnight, police said. 

Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call around 10 p.m. Sunday, May 26 on Silverton Circle near Sycamore School Road in far south Fort Worth. Officers found one victim with a gunshot wound and they died at the scene, police said. 

Police don’t know what led up to the shooting and did not release any additional information about the victim. The homicide unit is investigating the incident, according to police.
