HOUSTON (Gray News) – Police in Texas and Louisiana have canceled an Amber Alert issued for a missing 12-year-old girl.
An < a href="https://www.missingkids.org/poster/AMBER/31403/14872/screen" target="_self" rel="noopener">Amber Alert was issued for a young girl, Chloie Brewer-Clark, who was last seen in Houston with 26-year-old suspect Ariel Anderson.
Anderson and Chloie were reportedly traveling in a 2015 Black Chevrolet Tahoe with Louisiana license plate 310GOE.
Anderson was taken into police custody in Baton Rouge early Tuesday afternoon, a law enforcement source told WAFB, but police said the girl was still missing.
The Houston Police Department later announced on Facebook that the girl had been located safe and back with her family.
“We continue to work with our law enforcement partners in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, as this investigation remains ongoing at this time,” the department said.
