Two North Texas teens were killed and a 16-year-old was injured in a multi-car crash, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
TUSHKA, Okla. — Two North Texas teens were killed and one 16-year-old was seriously injured in a five-vehicle crash in Oklahoma, officials said.
The crash occurred around 6:14 a.m. April 3 on U.S. 69, one mile south of Boggy Depot Road in Atoka County, about 30 miles north of Durant, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said in a press release.
Brinlee Farris, 18, of Wylie, was driving northbound in a Jeep Compass when the car hydroplaned into the median and southbound lanes, according to the release. The vehicle was hit, causing a chain reaction crash. Farris and Hannah Zebraski, 18, of Aubrey, were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.
The Jeep’s third passenger, a 16-year-old from Richland Hills, was taken to Medical City Plano in serious condition, the release states.
The driver who hit the Jeep, 63-year-old Judy Drott was taken to a hospital in serious condition, the release states. The drivers of three other vehicles involved in the chain reaction crash were uninjured, officials said.
