The body of a 21-year-old was recovered from Ray Roberts Lake State Park Isle du Bois swim area Saturday, officials said.
PILOT POINT, Texas — A 21-year-old drowned at the Ray Roberts Lake State Park Saturday, officials said.
Emergency officials responded to a possible drowning call around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Ray Roberts Lake State Park Isle du Bois swim area in Pilot Point, Texas, a spokesperson for Texas Parks and Wildlife Department said in a statement.
The body of a 21-year-old man was recovered from the lake around 8 p.m., the release states.
Texas State Park Police, Texas Game Wardens, the Lewisville Fire Department Dive Team, the Pilot Point Police Department and the Pilot Point Fire Department responded to the reported drowning.
“Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time,” the release states.
