26-year-old woman dies after shooting, Dallas police investigating

 

Dallas Police are investigating the homicide of 26-year-old Tamesha Hicks, who was shot on Sept. 7 and later died in the hospital.

DALLAS — A 26-year-old woman died in the hospital three days after a shooting, according to the Dallas Police Department.

In a statement, DPD said 26-year-old Tamesha Hicks was shot in a car around 8 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the 5700 block of Highland Hills Drive. When officers found her, she was taken to the hospital, where she died on Sept. 10, according to DPD.

Dallas Police say after further investigation, they determined Hicks was shot in the 3200 block of Persimmon Road.
