3 arrested in connection with fatal shooting, police say

 

Scypion Goodin, 45, was shot and killed on April 4. Since then, Dallas police have arrested and charged three men in connection to the crime.

DALLAS — Three men were arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with a fatal shooting in April near Lake Highlands, Dallas police said Tuesday.

Dallas Police responded to a shooting call around 7:05 p.m. on April 4 in the 9500 block of Royal Lane. Officers found Scypion Goodin, 45, shot outside of an apartment and he died at the scene, police said. 

On May 31, Dallas Police arrested 30-year-old Jayrein Garrett and charged him with capital murder in connection with the shooting, police said. 

Two more people were arrested and charged in connection with the crime Monday, police said Tuesday. Dezmon Looney, 19, and Jakylon Willingham, 22, were also charged with capital murder.
