30-year-old woman killed in crash after colliding with light pole, police say

 

Arlington police confirmed the driver was not wearing her seatbelt.

ARLINGTON, Texas — A woman was killed in a single-car crash on Wednesday, Arlington police confirmed.

According to the Arlington Police Department, the crash around midnight on Wednesday in the 2800 block of N. Collins St. Police said the 30-year-old woman, who the Tarrant County Medical Examnier’s Office identified as Juanice Sierra Crowley, was driving a 2018 Kia Forte, drove over the curb and crashed into a light pole. 

APD said the crash happened at a high rate of speed and Crowley was not wearing a seatbelt.

The department said they are investigating and alcohol has not been ruled out as a contributing factor.
