Aggies continue to build their 2025 secondary haul

Texas A&M and new coach Mike Elko added another major piece to their 2025 recruiting class, securing a commitment from four-star Shadow Creek CB Cobey Sellers. He chose the Aggies over Oklahoma and Texas.
Sellers is ranked the No. 157 recruit in the nation, the No. 19 cornerback and the No. 27 player in Texas, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He is now the Ags’ highest-rated defender in the 2025 class, and their second-highest-rated recruit overall (behind only QB Husan Longstreet).
A&M now has three cornerbacks committed for this cycle, with Sellers joining Deyjhon Pettaway and Jamar Beal-Goines. Overall, the class now has 11 commits and moves into the top 10 nationally.
