68-year-old Fort Worth cyclist dies after morning crash

 

A 68-year-old man was killed while riding his bike in the 7700 block of West Vickery Blvd.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A 68-year-old bicyclist has died after a morning crash, according to the Benbrook Police Department.

BPD says the accident happened around 8 a.m. Saturday in the 7700 block of W. Vickery Blvd. 68-year-old Charles Henderson was riding his bike when he was hit by a driver.

Henderson was taken to the hospital, where he died.

According to BPD, the driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with police. Police say no criminal charges are expected.
