SAPD told KSAT that someone had left a vehicle’s engine running in the house’s garage.

Police said carbon monoxide went inside of the house and possibly poisoned seven people.

Some of the people transported were in critical condition due to being on different floors of the house, police said.

SAPD said several people were unconscious since the carbon monoxide affected more people than others.

This is an ongoing investigation. KSAT will update this story once more information becomes available.
