Bill Maher Levels Rob Reiner With Priceless Reaction Over Hunter Biden Laptop Conspiracy

Bill Maher called out the conspiracy to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop on his show Friday.

Specifically, Maher referenced what liberal podcaster Sam Harris said about the conspiracy. “But I think it was warranted,” Harris declared. It was more important to defeat Trump, he argued, “Hunter Biden literally could have had the corpses of children in his basement, I would not have cared.”

From Fox News:

“Is it okay to have a conspiracy to get rid of Trump?” Maher began. “They were talking about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which was a story and now all the mainstream press has finally admitted it was a real story. It was a real laptop.”

Maher went on, “Now look, let’s not pussyfoot around this; he was selling the influence of his father, Joe Biden. I mean, most political sons do, but let’s not pretend at least that was going on… so Hunter Biden’s lap top was buried by the press. Even the head of Twitter Jack Dorsey said that was a mistake… So Sam Harris says it was appropriate for Twitter, and the heads of Big Tech, and the heads of journalistic organizations to feel that they were in the presence of something that is a once-in-a-lifetime moral emergency, meaning Trump. So he’s saying it’s okay to have a conspiracy, to get rid of somebody as bad as Trump.”

“It’s a little bit of a thorny question because once you go down this road- this is sort of where we are in this country, the other side is so evil, anything is justified in preventing them from taking office. Is it?” Maher asked.

Reiner immediately tried to deflect, “You know what’s not justified? Using armed violence to try to kill people in the Capitol. That’s not justified.” Not only is that a false deflection, but the conspiracy also happened before the riot even happened. So, Reiner was just trying to evade reality.

Reiner revealed how ignorant he was on the laptop story, as well. Maher’s response to that ignorance was just priceless-and so on target.

“They buried the Hunter Biden story before the election because they were, like, ‘We can’t risk having the election thrown to Trump. We’ll tell them after the election.'”

“And we know for a fact that that’s what they did?” Reiner responded.

“Of course!” Maher double down. “You don’t follow this?”

“I don’t know what they did,” Reiner replied.

“I know because you only watch MSNBC,” Maher quipped.

Reiner is a golden example of the problem on the left — he acts like he hasn’t heard any of this because he’s so deep in his left-wing bubble of Trump hate. He tries to say he watches Fox, which is also hilarious. But if he did, he would know some of this information. Maher didn’t even get into Mark Zuckerberg’s recent admissions to Joe Rogan about the FBI or the whistleblower allegations that the FBI suppressed the case before the election, specifically to not have it affect the election. That probably would have blown what’s left of Reiner’s mind.

But both Reiner and another guest, Minnosota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, try to deflect and lie about Trump and Jan. 6 because they don’t want Americans to pay attention to what was done here. What was done here was election interference to help Joe Biden win. Maher gets it, and now a huge number of Americans do as well, as we noted in a new poll.
