A man entered the Walmart in the 900 block of Bandera Road on Friday afternoon and selected merchandise before exiting the store without paying for it, SAPD said.

Police said the security guard placed a handcuff on the man’s hand before the man displayed a knife in his other hand.
The security officer then let the man go, and the suspect fled through the parking lot in his vehicle off the property.
