For the past couple of weeks, as Florida faced Hurricane Ian and the impacts of the natural disaster, the mainstream media did everything possible to attack and smear Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Even during a natural disaster that swept homes and some folks’ livelihoods away, the media wanted to focus on DeSantis instead of the hurricane.
The new ad portrays DeSantis as a family man, student-athlete, hard worker, and military member, but also how he took care of his wife, the First Lady of Florida, Casey DeSantis, when she was diagnosed with cancer.
The ad will run statewide, one year after Casey DeSantis was diagnosed with breast cancer. The First Lady of Florida was declared cancer-free by doctors, but the ad gives a glimpse of how the Governor was there for her every step of the way.
Whether you love him or hate him, DeSantis delivers. He gets things done for Floridians, which is why he will be re-elected in the Sunshine State, which was a purple state until DeSantis became Governor. Many refer to DeSantis as “America’s Governor,” which drives the media crazy. The media senses that DeSantis will be a formidable candidate whenever he decides to run for President, and they are trying to take cheap shots every chance they get; however, time and time again, he has set the media straight.
But the media won’t show this video of a Florida resident who says he’s a Democrat and will vote for DeSantis in November.
DeSantis is expected to win his gubernatorial race in November against former governor Charlie Crist, who was a Republican, then an independent, and now a Democrat. The latest poll showed DeSantis leading Crist by 11 points. The media will continue to carry on with their agenda, but Floridians see that they can trust DeSantis to lead them through crises, and that’s one of the reasons hundreds of thousands of people have moved to Florida since 2020.
Fox News notes:
Despite being in office only four years, DeSantis has emerged as a favorite of the GOP grassroots. That popularity, in turn, has led to speculation the governor could be a 2024 presidential candidate, regardless of whether former President Trump chooses to mount another run for the White House.
Earlier this year, DeSantis was asked whether he will run for President in 2024; he said:
“People have asked me about that, probably about a thousand different times. I’m basically, I’m keeping my eye on the ball here in Florida.”
It will be a nightmare for the Democrats when DeSantis decides to run for President.
