CONVERSE, Texas – UPDATE: A man is in custodyfollowing a six-hour standoff inside a home in Converse on Tuesday night, according to the Converse Police Department.
Authorities say detectives obtained a search warrant and an arrest warrant for the residence after continued attempts to establish communication.
Converse police said around 9:30 p.m. a SWAT team entered the home and the suspect was apprehended. There were no reports of injuries either to the suspect, or officers.
Officials said the man will be evaluated by medical professionals and booked into the Bexar County Jail for deadly conduct with a firearm.
His name and age were not disclosed.

Negotiations are underway between the authorities and a man in a Converse neighborhood after he fired shots in the area, according to police.
The incident started around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 9700 block of Copper Road.
Officers were called to the area for shots fired and when they arrived, they heard additional shots, according to Converse PD.
SWAT and hostage negotiators are working to make contact with the man, in his 40s, who is barricaded inside of his home. There are no reported injuries and no one else is inside.
Neighbors in the area have been evacuated. People are urged to avoid the area, if possible, until the situation is resolved.
