Hot diggity dog! Oscar Mayer looks to hire Wienermobile driver

Ever wanted to travel across the country in the infamous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile? Well, your dream could soon become a reality.

The company is looking to hire a graduating college senior for a full-time, one-year assignment to travel across the US in the Wienermobile as a spokesperson/hotdogger, according to a posting on its website.

And as with any job, there are a few qualifications for candidates to be considered.

For starters, Oscar Mayer said it is looking for college seniors who have “an appetite for adventure.” Applicants will also need to have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising or marketing. But, applicants aren’t limited to just these degrees.

If you do “meat” these qualifications and are chosen as a hotdogger, you’ll be working as a brand ambassador for Oscar Mayer and will represent the company through radio and television appearances, newspaper interviews, and more during your travels.

You’ll also help maintain the Wienermobile, manage your own public relations while traveling, and more. You can see the full list of responsibilities here.
