A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Bonham ISD will be held February 15, 2023, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Bonham ISD Administration Center, 1005 Chestnut Street, Bonham, TX 75418.

One or more board members may attend the meeting via video conference pursuant to Texas Government Code ? 551.127.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the same order as shown on this meeting notice. Unless removed from the consent agenda, items identified within the consent agenda will be acted on at one time.

2. Invocation – Jeri Lea Johnson

3. Pledge of Allegiance led by Board Members

4. Public Comment

5. Action Item: Consider, discuss and possibly approve Order Calling a Bond Election

6. Action Item: Consider, discuss and possibly approve removing Carly Snead from and adding Whitney Farris to all Bonham ISD accounts at CapTex Bank.

7. Action Item – Consider, discuss and possibly approve the purchase of goods and services over $50,000 for complete restoration of the roof systems for the Finley-Oates Elementary campus (excluding portables) by Coryell Roofing and Construction

8. Action Item: Consider, discuss and possibly approve verbiage change in BISD 2022-2023 Compensation Plan, Professional (Exempt), Pay Grade 6 from Athletic Director & Head Football Coach to Boys Athletic Director/Head Football Coach and Girls Athletic Director/Head Coach

9. Executive Session –

A. Pursuant to Sections 551.071 and 551.074, Texas Government Code, discussions regarding proposed resolution of employee grievance and consultation with District’s legal counsel concerning legal matters related to same.

B. Discussions regarding the employment recommendation of Kevin Trompler to be reassigned as Girls Athletic Director.

10. Action Item: – Consider approval of items listed in Executive Session

11. Level Three parent grievance appeal hearing and deliberations regarding the same.

12. Executive Session –

A. Pursuant to section 551.071, Texas Government Code, Board consultation with District’s legal counsel concerning legal matters related to Level Three parent grievance by phone.

13. Action Item – Consideration and possible action concerning Level Three parent grievance appeal.
