SAN ANTONIO – One man is dead, and another was hospitalized in serious condition after a robbery ended in gunfire Saturday afternoon, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Patricia Drive.
Police said a 38-year-old man attempted to rob another man he was acquainted with when both men began firing gunshots.
Officers found the first man with a gunshot wound to his torso at a nearby location. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.
The second man was also found at the scene with gunshot wounds. He was also taken to the hospital in serious condition.
