SAN ANTONIO — It’s spring break for lots of kids in San Antonio, and plenty for them to do around town. If you’re looking for some more grown-up fun, there are options, too. Here’s a look.

“Hairspray”: The Tony award-winning musical based on John Waters’ 1988 film follows plus-size social outcast Tracy Turnblad as she joins the hit “Corny Collins Show” and uses her platform to push for racial integration in 1960s Baltimore. 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Majestic Theatre, 224 E. New Order: The revered British dance-rock band is making a very rare visit to San Antonio. Fest of Tails: This long-running kite festival and dog fair has everything from kite flying to a social bicycle trail, “Tour de Tails.” The family fun includes a kite demonstrations, a dog parade and costume contest and a bicycling safety course. Camille A. Brown: A Black choreographer based in New York, Brown is bringing her eponymous dance troupe to the Carver Community Cultural Center. “Our Planet” Live in Concert: Experience the award-winning Netflix series as a live concert featuring scenes from the original series. Cajun Fest 2023: Spend a day feasting on Cajun boil plates filled with crawfish and shrimp.
