Experience Local Stories at TPR’s ‘Worth Repeating’

Worth Repeating, Texas Public Radio’s live storytelling event series, returns tonight with seven new performances. Tonight’s theme is “?Como?” and each storyteller will have seven minutes to share a tale of confusing times, language barriers, or things lost in translation. This year, the event will take place in the Mal? and Carlos Alvarez Theatre and Studio, part of TPR’s new headquarters near the Alameda Theatre. Concessions will be available for a suggested donation during the show, and stick around afterward for a special storyteller meet-and-greet and whiskey toast sponsored by Real Spirits Distilling. Tonight is also a Downtown Tuesday Free Parking night , meaning parking will be free at city-operated parking garages, parking lots and parking meters from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. General admission is $7, and tickets, as well as additional information about the show, can be found here.

Tuesday, April 11. Doors open at 7 p.m, show begins at 7:30 p.m. Mal? and Carlos Alvarez Theater, 321 W Commerce St.
