Watch KSAT’s coverage from Uvalde on May 24 to mark one year since Robb Elementary shooting

UVALDE, Texas – KSAT was live in Uvalde on Wednesday, May 24 to mark one year since the tragedy at Robb Elementary School.

People in the community took part in several services and vigils to honor the two teachers and 19 fourth-grade students who died on May 24, 2022. The St. Philips Episcopal Church also held a butterfly release at 11:32 a.m. to mark when the shooting started.

Then at 9 p.m. Wednesday, KSAT will air “One Year In: Uvalde,” a special tribute honoring victims, survivors and the community.

In the wake of the shooting at Robb Elementary, several lawsuits have been filed by families of victims and by survivors of the shooting.
State Sen. Roland Gutierrez and members of the Texas Senate on Wednesday recognized the victims of the Robb Elementary shooting in an emotional ceremony.
