Maher Berenji, 19, died at the hospital after the crash, officials said.

Residents who live in the area say they’re concerned about the safety in their neighborhood.

“Things have to happen to make things safer for everybody, because it’s not going to be the person that’s speeding that’s necessarily always going to be the person injured. It’s going to be a family or a new driver,” said a mother and daughter who live nearby.
