Megan Rapinoe took aim at Dave Chappelle in a new interview, accusing the legendary comedian of causing “violence” against trans-identifying individuals.
You may remember Rapinoe as the obnoxious lesbian “feminist” who moaned and complained during her time as a member of the U.S. national women’s soccer team. An entire period of politics was inundated with claims of discrimination and inequality because the men’s team, which brings in much more money, was paid more. It was essentially like the WNBA crying that they don’t make as much as the NBA.

Rapinoe was speaking to TIME magazine when she made her latest comments, which also included an accusation that women’s sports are being “weaponized.” You know, because it’s not the biological men beating up on women that are doing that. No, it’s those crazy people who think women’s spaces should be respected (The New York Post).
“I don’t want to mince words about it,” Rapinoe said. “Dave Chappelle making jokes about trans people directly leads to violence, whether it’s verbal or otherwise, against trans people. When Martina or Sage or whoever are talking about this, people aren’t hearing it just in the context of elite sports. They’re saying, ‘The rest of my life, this is how I’m going to treat trans people.'”
That is what an attempt at emotional blackmail looks like. It’s the most common tactic of the rabid transgender movement. If you don’t want to let doctors mutilate confused children in the name of “gender-affirming care,” then you just want them to commit suicide. If you don’t want a grown man dominating women’s swimming, then you are responsible for violence. See how it works?
Ironically, while there hasn’t been a measurable rise in violence against transgender people, Chappelle was attacked on stage during a show for telling jokes that target the LGBT cabal. So who’s causing violence, again?
“It’s particularly frustrating when women’s sports is weaponized,” she said. “Oh, now we care about fairness? Now we care about women’s sports? That’s total bullsh–t. And show me all the trans people who are nefariously taking advantage of being trans in sports. It’s just not happening.”
Rapinoe’s demand to “show me all the trans people who are nefariously taking advantage of being trans in sports” is a cute attempt at misdirection. To answer her challenge, all men forcing their way into women’s leagues are doing so for nefarious reasons. They are all knowingly beating up on people who are at a biological advantage when they could just play in leagues that match their sex. There’s no way to do that without it being nefarious.
In other words, her attempt at adding a qualifier is ridiculous. Intentions are irrelevant in this scenario. Biological reality is what matters. I also suspect that Rapinoe, who is now retired, would not be so gung-ho about men in women’s sports if a man had supplanted her on the U.S. national team and sent her back to whatever soccer’s B-league is. It’s very easy for her to say this stuff from the sidelines because it doesn’t impact her. It’s rather jaded when you think about it.
