SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a dump truck on Loop 410 on the South Side, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened before 7:30 a.m. on eastbound Loop 410 at Villamain, not far from Southton Road.
Details about the crash are unknown, but police said the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the dump truck remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.
The eastbound lanes were closed in the area as authorities investigated but they have since reopened.
