ESPN has made a significant shift in the past year. The network, after making decidedly woke proclamations, has seemingly softened on this position. Since the addition of Pat McAfee to the lineup last fall, the host has proven to be willing to be critical of the network, flouting commands and even entering into a verbal battle with a longtime executive. This is notable since, in recent years, the brass at the network has clamped down on conservative comments some had made on social media, but now they tolerate McAfee trashing names on the air.
Next, we look at the news outlets overlooking details involving Joe Biden, including not delving into his bizarre comments (cannibals…really?!) as well as not holding him accountable for pretty outlandish stances, such as outwardly defying Supreme Court rulings against him. Suddenly, our democracy is not endangered when it is Biden making those threats.
Then, for some appropriate media distemper, the same press that loves reporting when Donald Trump defies judge’s orders completely ignores a judge’s command not to publish personal details of jurors for Trump’s trial. As a bonus, Jesse Watters at Fox News comes under fire for doing so when he was basically reading the reports from WaPo.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.
