A SWAT team arrested and charged two men, Donte Tyrone Murry Jr. and Antwon Hamilton, with Capital Murder.
MCKINNEY, Texas — A 23-year-old man is dead after being shot in McKinney Sunday afternoon.
McKinney police officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an exchange of gunfire near N Jordan Road and Woodberry Lane Sunday. According to a release from McKinney police, officers found a 23-year-old white male shot in a car. He died at the scene.
The suspect Donte Tyrone Murry Jr., 24, fled to the home of Antwon Hamilton, 33, who assisted Murry in the shooting, police said. Both suspects were arrested by the McKinney Police Department SWAT team and charged with Capital Murder.
The incident is still under investigation and the department didn’t immediately release any additional details.
