In this episode of Things Not to Say to Your Viewers…
“Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough is upset. He doesn’t understand why his show’s viewers can’t understand why the pro-Hamas, antisemitic demonstrations are hurting Joe Biden’s reelection chances.

On Thursday’s episode of Joe and wife Mika Brzezinski’s hopelessly biased show, Joe came unglued. How unglued, you ask? Let’s just say he went Keith Olbermann on the “Morning Joe” audience.
Totally wrapped around the axle, Joe pleaded with viewers:
If you’re offended by this, please, I’m trying to help you. I don’t want Donald Trump to get elected. All right? I’m trying to help you.
Look, who can’t be helped by Joe Scarborough, right?
I mean Joe and Mika spend at least half of their TDS-riddled lives railing against Donald Trump and trying to save humanity from the unspeakable evils of the Devil’s spawn. So for the love of God, “Morning Joe” devotees, listen to what Joe is saying! After all, he’s only trying to help you!
By this point, Scarborough was so wound up that he went there, with “ there” being playing the “stupid” card against his own audience — and worse.
If you’re too stupid to figure that out, you can change to another channel. Because we’re sorting through this as a country, and this is not helping. This is not helping the people of Gaza. And this is not helping those of us who want to fight fascism in America.
Oh, Joe. Dude, your ratings are bad enough without telling your programmed audience to change the channel if they’re too stupid to understand the genius of your efforts to “help them.” Look, they very well might be stupid, Joe, but you can’t afford to lose even a smidge of your tiny audience, bud.

Scarborough then attempted to conflate the organized antisemitic demonstrations that have rocked more than 50 college and university campuses across the country with Vietnam-era protests, the 1968 Democrat National Convention riots in Chicago, the Reagan Revolution that propelled Ronald Reagan to the White House in 1980, and even the peaceful protests of Martin Luther King, Jr.
You remember 68? It was a tidal wave. There’s a reason that Reagan won with a lot of young voters in 1980. There’s a reason the Reagan Revolution took place. The seeds were planted in 1968. And again, when I say that, I’m not saying that the Vietnam War wasn’t an unjust war. It was. Martin Luther King and others have proven that there are ways to help the cause without aiding the worst elements in American politics.
In other words, Scarborough tried to deflect attention away from the disastrous Biden presidency by blaming low-information Democrat voters for the probable election of Trump in November.

Not to be outdone, as my colleague Nick Arama reported on Thursday, Mika also had a meltdown — after Joe went off the rails during his meltdown — when guest Al Sharpton compared the anti-Israel demonstrations to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
‘Morning Joe’ Mika Has a Meltdown When Al Sharpton Compares Campus Riots to Jan. 6
“Good Lord, don’t make a parallel to January 6th!” Mika Brzezinski responded to Sharpton, adding: “For some reason, that’s not allowed.”
Setting aside the incomprehension of Sharpton, Brzezinski inadvertently admitted the left’s lockstep mindset. You can’t go there, because we don’t do that — which is exactly what hubby Joe accused the “stupid” “Morning Joe” audience of doing.
Trump Derangement Syndrome— it’s an insidious disease.
