The commits keep coming for first-year Texas A&M head coach Michael Earley. Like any coaching change, players come and go, causing roster shakeups. So, after seeing back-to-back de-commits last week, the Aggie baseball team bounced back after gaining a commitment from a talented utility player.
2025 Prosper native Luke Billings announced on social media that he will continue his baseball career at Texas A&M. Billings plays catcher and outfield and is a solid pitcher. He throws in the mid 90’s from the mound, and that strong arm makes him a threat to throw anyone out anywhere on the field.
In addition to being a great overall athlete, he was named to the 2024 Max Preps Underclass All-America team as a catcher.
C — Luke Billings, Prosper (Texas), 6-2, 190Named first team All-Area by the Dallas Morning News, he also made the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 6A All-State team. He batted .341 with 16 doubles, a triple and six home runs. He also knocked in 21 runs, scored 16 runs and walked 40 times.
