FORECAST:
It’s gradually getting better with temperatures sliding in the days ahead. Tomorrow will still be hot with a high of 100° or so, but we’ll have upper 90s over the weekend followed by mid 90s next week.
A few showers could pop-up tomorrow afternoon – especially closer to the Gulf Coast – but odds are a little better next week when we have a daily 20%-30% chance.
The upper-level “heat high” will drift away from Texas and allow a weak disturbance to move overhead, which provides the hope for rain next week.
