Small plane slides into fence in Johnson County, NTSB and FAA investigating

 

The two people on board were not seriously injured, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

CLEBURNE, Texas — The FAA and NTSB are investigating after a single-engine aircraft crashed into a fence in Johnson County Friday evening.

Officials said the hard landing of the single-engine Kitfox Model IV happened around 7:20 p.m. along FM3136 near Coyote Flats in Cleburne.

Two people were on board and were not seriously injured, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. It’s unclear at this time what caused the hard landing.

The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation.
