H-E-B will begin construction on its first Forney location this month, the company announced.
FORNEY, Texas — H-E-B is set to start construction this month on a new location in Forney, the company said in a press release.
The grocery chain will open a nearly 140,000-square-foot store at U.S. 80 and Gateway Blvd in Forney, the company said. The store is expected to open in early 2026, the release states. More details will be released prior to the store’s opening.
“Proudly serving communities across the state since 1905, H-E-B is committed to the DFW area for the long term and hopes to serve even more of the Metroplex in the future,” the release states.
H-E-B currently has 15 stores open in the DFW metroplex. Ten more, including the Forney location, are set to open within the next several years.
