What Joe Biden Just Told Hurricane Victims in Florida Is Deplorable

Joe Biden went to St. Pete Beach in Florida on Sunday to tour the damage from Hurricane Milton.

The town and other communities suffered a lot of damage, and there are still almost 800,000 without power in Florida. At least 17 people have been killed.

“Thankfully, the storm impact was not as cataclysmic as we’d predicted,” Biden said. “But for some individuals, it was cataclysmic. All those folks who not only lost their homes but more importantly those folks who lost their lives, lost family members, lost all their personal belongings.”

But then you’ll never guess what Biden said. Or maybe you will, if you know Joe Biden. How would the delusional Biden put himself into the situation when he’s speaking to someone who has just undergone a disaster?

He spoke about how he understood the loss of their homes because of the time that “lightning” struck his house and there was a fire in 2004.

He always has to make it somehow about him. He claimed that he knew “from experience how devastating it is to lose your home.” “It didn’t all burn down but we were out of the home for seven months while it was being repaired,” he said.

Of course, his description isn’t true, his home didn’t come close to burning down. It was a “small fire … contained to the kitchen” and was “under control in 20 minutes,” according to the fire department. He wasn’t even there.

This is so incredibly offensive when he does this and he keeps doing it to people who have just lost everything — unlike him. He did this to the people of Maui as well, when they experienced that deadly fire. He told them he “almost lost his wife, his ’67 Chevy, and his cat.” You can see that here vs the real cars burned out in the carnage in Maui.

He knows nothing of what they feel. I would have more respect for him if he were honest and just said that, rather than exaggerating and lying about what he experienced. How about listening to what the people there have lost rather than talking about yourself? Does he know what it’s like to be trapped in floodwaters with no help for ten days in a remote area like the people in Hurricane Helene? Then maybe shut up and listen. I suppose we’re lucky he didn’t mention Beau.

On Friday, Biden appeared to threaten others for spreading “disinformation” in regard to hurricane response, saying people would “pay a price” for questioning the government’s response to the hurricane.

Imagine what the people in Florida might feel if they knew what he’s saying is a lie — he himself is the one spreading “disinformation.”
