Kamala Harris is already in trouble with some Catholics and others for blowing off the tradition of the Al Smith dinner, as well as sending a video that some thought missed the point of the event and was offensive. You don’t get more voters by preaching to those who are already voting for you; that’s the problem with her events. She had the opportunity to reach out to more voters with the Al Smith dinner, but she didn’t care.

We reported how instead of showing up for the event which has been a tradition since 1946, she was misinforming and lying up a storm about President Donald Trump in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to her base. Which was especially ironic, since she’d been advised by Molly Shannon in her Al Smith video not to lie. But that seems to be all she’s left with at this point.

But she had another problem during an event in Wisconsin, and her response to it now has gone viral. She also went to a rally where she talked about abortion in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
During her remarks as she was talking about abortion, two attendees shouted out “Jesus is Lord,” according to RedState’s Scott Presler.
I think Presler is referring to the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse, since that’s where they were.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel also confirmed the event, noting a “number of attendees were escorted out while shouting ‘Jesus is Lord.'” Fox News described the attendees in question as anti-abortion protesters. The video sounds like some of the Kamala supporters said “Bye!” and it looks like people waved at them as they were escorted out.

You can hear some of what Kamala responded above, but here’s a better view of it as she mocked the people in question.
“Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally,” she said derisively.
“No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street,” she declared, apparently trying to take a shot at Trump. Sounds like she’s insecure about her rally size, since Trump’s rallies in Wisconsin have been larger. As far as I can tell, he wasn’t having one down the street.
The crowd then cheered her, mocking the people who were escorted out,
Now whether Harris is responding to “Jesus is Lord,” thinking they’re anti-abortion or something else, her mocking response went over like a lead balloon with people outside her base. She’s supposedly running to be president for all Americans, not just the people who agree with her. And perhaps it’s particularly telling, given her move in regard to the Al Smith dinner. Many on X thought this was not a good look to behave this way. It did not go over well. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) was just one example.

And let’s consider how different her reaction to these folks is from her reaction to Gaza protesters. Here’s how she responded to one of them on the same day at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.
