The Democrats’ billionth attempt to paint former President Donald Trump as the second coming of Adolf Hitler may have backfired in a big way. In a powerful video clip circulating on social media, Jerry Wartski, a Holocaust survivor, blasted Vice President Kamala Harris and her fellow Democrats for constantly comparing Trump to Hitler and his supporters to Nazis.

Harris and others, in recent days, have ramped up their rhetoric about Trump and his supporters being fascists seeking to take over the country and oppress marginalized communities. Wartski, a 94-year-old Jewish man who was imprisoned in the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II, explained why this rhetoric is an insult to those who experienced Nazi Germany.
“Adolf Hitler invaded Poland when I was nine years old. He murdered my parents and most of our family. I know more about Hitler than Kamala will ever know in a thousand lifetimes,” he stated, rolling up his sleeve to show his prisoner number tattooed on his arm. “For [Harris] to accuse President Trump of being like Hitler is the worst thing I’ve ever heard in my 75 years living in the United States.”
Wartski continued, saying Harris “owes my parents and everybody else who was murdered by Hitler an apology for repeating this lie.”
When asked why Jewish people should support Trump, he replied, “Because he’s a mensch. I believe that President Trump is definitely going to be good for Israel because everything that he’s done up to now was in favor.”
He concluded: “He has always stood with the Jewish people and the State of Israel.”

While speaking at a CNN town hall broadcast, Harris was asked whether she believes Trump is a fascist. She answered in the affirmative.
“Yes, I do. Yes, I do. And I, and I also believe that the people who know him best on this subject should be trusted. Again, look at their careers. These are not people, with the exception I think of only Mike Pence, these were not politicians. These are career people who have served in the highest roles in national security, who have served as generals in our military, who are highly respected. Talking about the person who would be commander in chief.”
The vice president also quoted a recent hit piece from The Atlantic claiming that Trump asked why his generals couldn’t be as loyal as Hitler’s generals.
“The American people deserve to have a president who encourages healthy debate, works across the aisle, not afraid of good ideas wherever they come from, but also maintains certain standards about how we think about the role and the responsibility, and certainly not comparing oneself in a clearly admiring way to Hitler,” she said.

During a press conference, Harris expressed similar sentiments, referring to Trump’s former chief of staff, John Kelly, a retired general, who made the original claim about Hitler’s generals.
“Donald Trump said that because he does not want a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution. He wants a military that is loyal to him. He wants a military who will be loyal to him personally, one that will obey his orders, even when he tells them to break the law or abandon their oath to the Constitution of the United States.”
Democrats have been using these deceptive and bizarre talking points against Trump and his supporters since the 2016 campaign. They have essentially downplayed the atrocities of the Holocaust and other evils inflicted by Hitler’s Germany to score cheap political points against their most feared opponent.
By pretending Hitler is basically like Trump, it diminishes the severity of the crimes he committed. Apparently, murdering six million Jews and others in concentration camps is only about as bad as wanting to build a wall on the southern border to stop illegal immigration – not that bad, right?

If this video clip continues to make the rounds, it will further illustrate why the “Trump is Hitler” tactic is so reprehensible – especially to those whose family members were murdered by the Nazi dictator. Unfortunately, leftist politicians don’t seem to believe the Holocaust was as bad as the rest of us.
