Now, if you’re running for election, you would think that you would be visiting as many places and speaking to as many people as you could, to get your message out there.

You’d want to hit shows like Joe Rogan’s podcast, which has the biggest audience on Spotify. You’d make time for events with a long tradition, that helps charities and makes a nod to the big voting bloc of Catholics — like the Al Smith dinner. Not to mention such an event could show you are human and have a sense of humor (if indeed you have one) to people who have questions about you.
President Donald Trump attended the Al Smith dinner and is recording an interview with Joe Rogan. He’s also proved himself adept at podcasts, by going on Theo Von’s show and the “Flagrant” podcast (which was a hilarious show).

But Kamala Harris isn’t. She blew off the Al Smith dinner for no real reason, unless it’s just that she didn’t want to anger her far-left, anti-religious, pro-abortion base. She did go on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, which perhaps shows where her focus is.
Now, Harris spokesperson Ian Sams has just offered up a lame reason for why she will not show up on Rogan’s show.

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes asked Sams why she didn’t go on Rogan. He replied that it wasn’t going to work out because of the “scheduling.” She’s had days where she has a light schedule, and all you have to do to be on his show is call in.
What is she doing on Friday, as Trump is recording his show? She has no events until a rally in the evening in Houston, reportedly with Beyonce performing. She’s also doing an interview with Brené Brown, who’s a researcher; Harris likely thinks that is a “safe” space. According to USA Today, Brown is “a podcaster who talks about feeling vulnerable.” Well, that just might describe Harris’ position in the race right now. Maybe Brown can commiserate with her.
No offense to Brown, but she doesn’t have the reach of Rogan’s podcast. If you really wanted to reach out to men, Rogan would be the way to do it.
If the point is to talk to new people and bring in folks not already in her camp, how does Harris do that when she acts like a coward? And if she acts like this, why should anyone hire her for the job? It means she’s not going to be able to handle the things that require her to be tough, to be knowledgeable, and to be able to explain herself.
But she knows Rogan isn’t going to let her stand on word salads, and she knows that she can’t stand up to him.

Oh, but guess where else she is going to do an interview, according to our friend, Ian Sams?
She’s going to do an interview with CBS, the same folks who edited her “60 Minutes” interview, cutting out her word salad answer to be more “succinct” by their own admission. That’s the same CBS that is refusing to release a transcript or the footage of the full, unedited interview. So much for transparency.
Are they going to edit this one, too?
