All lanes on Interstate 35 West were closed Thursday morning after an 18-wheeler fell off the road.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Several lanes of Interstate 35W were closed Thursday after an 18-wheeler was reported to be dangling from an overpass.

Two northbound lanes of I-35W were closed around 3:22 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. The 18-wheeler was traveling northbound on I-35W at Everman Parkway when the truck went partially over the guardrail, according to a press release from the Fort Worth Police Department.

The driver was safely extricated from the truck without injury, the release states. The far left northbound lane remains open, police said.

A photo shared by DFW Scanner showed the tractor-trailer upside down and hanging off the overpass bridge, with the cab of the truck resting on its top.
