Unseasonably warm start to November, but a cold front arrives early next week 👀

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
  • TEMPERATURES: Warmer-than-average 80s into the weekend
  • RAIN CHANCES: Isolated chances continue into next week
  • NEXT COLD FRONT: Arrives late Monday, cooler weather follows
FORECAST

Hope you had a safe and happy Halloween! 🎃

It was the hottest Halloween on record in the Alamo City with a high of 90° breaking the previous record of 89°. On top of that, October 2024 will go down as the hottest October in history in San Antonio, with records dating back to the mid-1880s.

Temperatures will still trend in the unseasonably warm 80s for the first weekend of November, but cooler and seasonable weather looks to move in next week!

A few showers will be possible overnight and into Friday morning, but anything found will be light and limited. Isolated showers and perhaps a downpour or two can’t be ruled out by Friday afternoon, with coverage still somewhat isolated at 30%.

We’ll also call for mostly cloudy skies throughout the day with highs in the low-80s by Friday afternoon.

Mostly cloudy with generally isolated rain possible.

A few more isolated rain chances are in the forecast this weekend with temperatures still warmer-than-average. We could catch the tail end of a broken line of showers and storms on Monday as a more noticeable, fall cold front moves in later in the day.

Cooler air arriving in the wake of that front looks to bring highs down into the 70s by Tuesday, along with cooler mornings in the 50s & 60s!

We’ll keep you posted as we fine-tune the details… until then, have a great night! ~ Mia
