Police responded to the crash in the 7100 block of Randol Mill Road shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday.
FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was killed, and another person is in critical condition after a wrong-way crash in Fort Worth Thursday night, police say.
A driver in a pickup truck going eastbound on Randol Mill Road at high speeds crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a sedan head-on in the 7100 block of Randol Mill Road shortly after 9 p.m., police say.
The driver of the sedan was pinned in the vehicle before fire officials extricated the driver and MedStar began treatment, according to police.
The driver of the sedan was taken to an area hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead upon arrival and the driver of the truck was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, police say.
Neither driver was identified.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. WFAA will update this story as additional information becomes available.
