One lucky North Texan is the winner of a $3 million Mega Millions Texas Lotto prize.
The winning ticket was sold at a Mexican grocery store in Fort Worth on Friday. The store is called El Rio Grande Latin Market and is located at 3037 S. Freeway, according to the Texas Lottery’s website.
The current jackpot is estimated at $361 million annuitized, or $169.2 million at cash value.
Last year, the winning ticket for the Texas Lotto jackpot of $95 million was reported to have been sold at a storefront called Hooked on MT in Colleyville. It was later discovered that a syndicate had pooled its money together and spent almost $26 million to buy every possible numeric combination for the lottery—and it worked.
It was only one jackpot winner, however, but the identity of the winners of high-dollar prizes can remain undisclosed per Texas lottery rules.
The current jackpot is still up for grabs, and the drawing is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12, according to the website.
