Many people took to X, formerly Twitter, to voice their complaints about the streaming service’s issues on Friday night.
ARLINGTON, Texas — Friday night was fight night in North Texas — and the rest of the world — as Jake Paul and Mike Tyson faced off at AT&T Stadium Friday night on Netflix.
Right up until the disappointing headlining bout, most of the fights on the night went pretty well — uh, except for one thing. Many spectators noticed their Netflix streams buffering repeatedly throughout the livestreamed event, making for a less-than-special viewing experience.
In response, viewers from around the world took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to voice their complaints and poke fun at the streaming platform.
So, while Netflix didn’t charge subscribers an additional fees to view the fight, the masses still found something to complain about.
Here’s hoping, for their sake, that Netflix gets its live server situation in order ahead of the slate of NFL games it’s planning to stream on Christmas Day later this year.
