Pedestrian killed in Dallas crash on I-30 near I-35E, shutting down highway lanes

 

A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 30 near downtown, the Dallas Sheriff’s Office said.

DALLAS — A pedestrian died after being hit on Interstate 30 near downtown Dallas, the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. 

Two westbound lanes of Interstate 30 were closed around 6:15 a.m. Monday, Nov 18, near the I-30 and I-35E mix master, according to the Dallas Sheriff’s Office. 

As of 6:45 a.m. traffic was backed up several miles to Dolphin Road. 

Storms were expected to move through the DFW area during rush hour Monday. Check back for the latest traffic updates.
