FORECAST
THANKSGIVING DAY:
Tonight’s cold front will set the stage for a gusty and cooler Thanksgiving with a morning temperature near 50° and an afternoon high in the lower 60s. Plan for wind gusts up to 35 mph from before sunrise through the noon hour, then it’ll still be breezy in the afternoon but gusts will drop to 20 mph.
Mornings will turn chilly Friday and Saturday with sunrise temperatures in the upper 30s/near 40° followed by afternoon temperatures in the low to mid 60s, which is below average this time of year. Sunday will be similar with the exception of the morning being a bit warmer in the upper 40s.
Next week, rain chances rise as temperatures drop. Plan for jacket-weather all day Monday and especially Tuesday. The warmest it’ll get on Monday is the upper 50s, and Tuesday will only reach the lower 50s. One reason for the cooler temperatures is more cloud cover and increasing rain chances. As of now, Tuesday is our best chance with some rain likely, but it looks rather light with minimal accumulations (up to 0.33″).
