Bill Maher had far-left Jane Fonda on his podcast, “Club Random,” as our friends at Twitchy reported.
It was fascinating to watch as he schooled/scolded her and put her on the spot over the crazy takes of the far left.

He explained how Americans think that the far left has gone so nutty on so many issues. Fonda argued people thought this because that was what they were told by people like Bill. Then he listed examples of nuttiness, including the NAACP advising people not to go to Florida if they were black and the left thinking that men can get pregnant.
Fonda said, “I’ve never heard about men getting pregnant,” and tried to argue if there was craziness, it was some “minuscule” part of what “you call the far left,” which he immediately disputed. He also seemed to get in a little dig about how she probably would have gotten an advisory about going to Vietnam — a reference to her vile trip to visit with the North Vietnamese and laugh.
It’s pretty hilarious as she wouldn’t even acknowledge such a thing as the far left and suggested that Maher or Fox News are why people might think this. In other words, Americans are stupid — they can only be dictated to; they can’t realize you’re nuts all on their own.

Then she dives into it herself regarding climate change, saying we don’t have a lot of time to do anything about it and we are reaching a tipping point. Maher noted how the “tipping points” of the past didn’t come to fruition.

Their discussion turned to race, and it sounded like Jane Fonda thought it was decades ago, that we hadn’t made any progress based upon what she was saying. Maher said one problem liberals had was the inability to acknowledge progress and leftist Fonda seemed a great example of that.
She thinks black people don’t have the ability to live a middle-class life. That’s bizarre. But I think it’s about if there’s always a problem, there’s always a need for the leftists — for the left to be able to agitate for leftism and have a purpose.
Perhaps the funniest thing was when Fonda denied that California was over-regulated or extremely left.

“You’ve never heard that California is overtaxed and overregulated? We’re a one-party state when there’s sort of no checks on that sort of extreme leftism and that,” Maher said.
Fonda just completely denied it, “I don’t for a minute consider California a state that is extreme leftist. Not at all.”
That’s just not living in reality — and that’s the real problem with leftists. They just refuse delivery on the reality that they don’t like.
But hey, at least she fantasizes about doing in the guys she has relationships with. Yikes.
