The holiday season is in full swing in North Texas.

DALLAS — The holiday season is in full swing across North Texas.

This weekend features a full slate of holiday festivals, including the downtown Dallas parade, and other ongoing Christmas-themed events. And even if you’re not in the holiday spirit quite yet, there are plenty of other offerings across North Texas, including a notable name playing the American Airlines Center on Friday and a massive college football matchup at AT&T Stadium on Saturday.

Friday, Dec. 6

Justin Timberlake at American Airlines Center

What tour, you ask? The world tour. And yes, it’s coming to the American Airlines Center. JT’s “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” makes a stop in Dallas on Friday night, starting at 8 p.m. Tickets were still available this week, starting at around $60 before fees. Check them out here.

Saturday, Dec. 7

Dallas Holiday Parade

The Dallas Holiday Parade is back for a 36th year. The annual downtown Dallas event starts at 9 a.m. and will begin on Commerce Street, before looping along Harwood to Young Street. The parade is the city’s largest single-day outdoor event, according to its website, bringing thousands of people downtown each December. Get full details here.

Sunday, Dec. 8

“The Nutcracker” finale in Dallas

The Texas Ballet Theater’s production of “The Nutcracker” closes out its Dallas run Sunday at the Winspear Opera House. The production has been running since Nov. 29. Start times this weekend are 8 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Can’t make it? “The Nutcracker” will shift to Fort Worth’s Bass Performance Hall on Dec. 13-29.
