Lewisville Autoplex hosting car show benefiting Santa’s Helpers

The rain or shine event is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 8.

LEWISVILLE, Texas — ‘Tis the season of giving and Lewisville Autoplex is getting gearheads involved in giving back.

Lewisville Autoplex will host its 8th annual Car Show and Toy Drive on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Exhibitors and visitors are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate to WFAA’s Santa’s Helpers toy drive.

If you have a car you’re interested in showing, register on the ParkUpFront app.

WFAA’s Santa’s Helpers is celebrating its 55th annual toy drive. Each year, Santa’s Helpers provides 50,000 toys to children ages newborn to 18. The program works with 30 non-profit agencies across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties to distribute toys each holiday season.

If you’re not able to make it to Lewisville Autoplex’s toy drive and car show, you can support Santa’s Helpers by shopping the Amazon wish list or by making a donation to the Santa’s Helpers fund at Communities Foundation of Texas.

Businesses and community groups are welcome to support Santa’s Helpers, as well. If you’re interested, please fill out this form
