FORECAST
A cold front arrives after midnight and will put an end the taste of spring we had today (81°).
Tonight’s cold front will blow through with gusty winds and provide a significant cool-down. Sunrise temperatures tomorrow will be in the 40s, then Despite sunshine, we’ll only see a high around 60° tomorrow afternoon. That’s a 20° drop from Monday!
Now to what may be the biggest impact of the front: a possible brief and light freeze Wednesday morning. As winds calm and skies clear, temperatures will plummet. San Antonio *could* see its first freeze of the season, but it’s more likely to affect outlying areas, outside the city center. This is NOT a 4p’s situation. The freeze will be brief and light so you won’t need to worry about pipes, but it’d be good to take the necessary precautions for sensitive plants and your pets.
From there, we’ll see a warm up by the end of the week and another taste of spring over the weekend as highs rise into the mid 70s along with a hint of humidity back in the air.
