BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead by his father in far west Bexar County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Tomas Calavera Jr., 30, was found dead with a gunshot wound to his upper body around 3:15 p.m. Monday in the block of 14000 Gunsight Pass, BCSO said.
Upon arrival, deputies briefly detained Calavera’s father, the sheriff’s office told KSAT.
However, BCSO confirmed that the father was notified to check on Calavera before the deputies arrived on the scene.
Authorities arrested Faith Paige Goynes, 40, connected with the incident, who was described as being in a common-law relationship with Calavera, according to BCSO.
