ARLINGTON, Texas — A person died in Arlington after being hit by a car, police said.
According to the Arlington Police Department, the accident happened in the 2000 block of E. Pioneer Parkway. Police said that a driver hit and killed a pedestrian and remained on the scene Monday evening.
When officers arrived around 6:40 p.m., they found the pedestrian, who they said was an adult, dead on arrival.
The driver who struck the pedestrian remained at the scene, police said. Arlington PD said they are investigating.
